Gordon's really not what we need... probably wouldn't hurt, but not worth getting hung up over.
Put the money into a guy who could be a #1 C.
Or build up the wings even more and let Kadri and Colborne take the reigns as our centers.  |

Why did we get rid of Steckel again?
I'm having a hard time believing anyone would rather want Boyd Gordon as 4C than David Steckel. |

He has learned well from Tippett (best coach in the NHL IMO) and may be another good botton 6 UFA, like McClement. |

Well the common response you're gonna get is steckel couldn't do much after he won the draw and he wasn't even winning draws too often last year. I think Gordon is a much better defensice system type of guy compared to steckel so he should do well here

yeah see how they play, u can move em around.
id honestly keep colborne in the AHL to start the season - injuries will happen and we know both mcclemment and gordon are versatile and could play wing on line 3 or 4...hell id be ok having mcclemment fill in top 6 if it were just a few games. |
